Well I guess it was bound to happen since I didnt post it on the Pop up when u connect to the server
I dislike someone that conect to the server Purchased 1 POY and then disconect again spent a total of 1 min and 20 sec on the server...
Well I dont care to try to ban or post the name/ip adress of the offender but I really dont like that behaviour

I fully agree with you... if I plan on doing such a thing I always ask the administrator of the server first... and if he is not there, I just wouldn't do it.
But I think you should indeed add it to the pop-up thing so that when people connect they can see it and maybe some newbies aren't that familiar with the Demise-etiquette yet

Well I have no raiding on popup but just as I was reading this post a player connected to my server and purchased
8 scroll of spells and
5 gems of healing
I connected to my server and said Hi and the player disconnected.
So I banned him/her.
I have no problem with ppl buing stuff, but I totally dislike store raiders. If the player would have played a while I wouldn't mind but just buing and leaving got him/her banned.

While I'm foaming here I might add that Server ops might talk to each other and news about store raiders get passed on so it might cause banning on more than one server.

Enough raving and back to playing

I usually am not that bad (It is really tempting when you need it for a quest or something), but I don't understand the issue. If something were rare, needed, wanted, why sell it to the store? If it ends up in the store becuase no one wanted it, it should be first come, first serve.

Merlin, the principle is, many servers have a fairly regular clientele of players; they contribute to the store and the game overall (tomes and such). Someone popping in for the very popular items, then vanishing, is being an opportunist, taking away stuff that the regulars might want.
The big items that get raided are all the good consumables...scrolls of spells, gems of healing, greenies, etc. It's REAL easy to just set some big-spell default and blast away, and burn up 4 or 5 scrolls of spells in one trip, but if you actually have to work to get those scrolls, well, you might actually learn to think a little bit. The people who play fast and sloppy like this, while raiding the stores to maintain this approach, damage those who suddenly go, oh, I need 1 or 2 of those now...
I don't think most server ops mind if you come on in to buy, oh, a burning blade or somesuch to get a nice little weapons upgrade, assuming the server has a few. Even *a* PoY for that damn explorer quest, might be ok if there's a bunch of em, and if you ask.

I don't mind people buing stuff from my store as long as they don't buy the last one.
The Regulars always (almost) ask if they want to buy many SoS or PoYs...
What pisses me off is that when a raider comes he/she just empties the store and none are left for the ones who really need them (this being The Regulars).

Side effect of emptying a store of items!
with the current status of the library files
the store is the only way to see what will become available and at what lvls letting/helping you come up with some kind of lvling stategy

If you are playing MP, why would you not play on the server that has good items ? If the server you are playing on doesn't have the stuff you need, then why take it from another server and then play somewhere else ? This seems very selfish. The players that have contributed to the server have left good items that they don't need to help those that do need the item. Now explain to me why someone would come and wipe out 10 healing crystals, 2 crystals of restoration, and 2 crystals of healing ? Because they are selfish and don't know how to take what they can use in one run thru the dungeon. What about the person that has removed every tome and potion of wisdom, with no regard to alignment ?! When you have 40 people playing and only 2 of those come to raid, then you have just taken items away from 38 people that should be entitled to them. If you raid on my server, and I mean wipe stuff out with no regard for others, you will serve a 30 day ban. If it happens again, there will be no hope of playing with some of the best players in MP, and I will notify the other server ops to be aware. I do this only to protect the true and respectful players, and not to be a jerk.
