Once again many thanks- Server maxed out at 9 today with one peron trying to get in. Nice to know there was no signs of heavy lag !!!

For those of you that play on Greg's Hide Away (127 users as of 6\14\01)- I have been having some hardware problems. The latest is with a sound card that has completely screwed up Demise. I have removed the card and all the drivers, but Demise appears to be corrupted. My backups work, but I can't the server working. It's like the ding bug, except on the server. I can connect to everyone else's server. So I am frantically trying to restore, but I may have to reinstall Windows and get a clean start. I will have this working soon, so hang in there.

Greg ~ you may wish to get in touch with Gold Dragon has similar problem I've been unsuccesful in helping with so far ..?

Got the server working Saturday. I had backed up demise before I installed the sound card, so there was absolutley no data loss ! My fix was to reinstall windows. I figured it was easier than spending hours trying to figure out if there was something screwy in the registry. Probably the only thing that I can offer that would be valuable is to always make sure you backup your data.

Greg, I attempted to log onto your server this morning and wasn't able to get connected. Are you having problems?

Some people seem to be having problems logging in- not sure why, but I'll try a couple things to see if it will work. Thanks for letting me know.
