I need to update to 1.35b to connect in mp. I am at 1.34b. What am I missing? I have downloaded and installed 3.1, dll patch, 353.exe.

Sounds like you got a bad install of the R3.1 patch when this happened to me I saved my DemiseCharacter.DED file then deleated the whole artifact entertainment file installed from the cd (restart the computer here) then with out starting the game installed the R3.1 patch then droped a copy the char file back in then started the game and played then you can install the 353 patch ps you hafta restart the computer after installing the game and again after each patch!!!! thats probbly why it says your running the wrong version when you realy arn't PPS the 353 and the .dll patch is one patch so don't restart the comp or the game between them!!!!!!!!!

Thanks Dogg. Iwill try to reinstall it all. I restarted after installing 3.1 and after installing the two patches but not in between each one if you get what I mean. i'll try though and see what happens.

Dogg, Do i have to download the patch with the fluid patch download thing? and if so what was the 13 MB I downloaded?

Well... Back then the company that created the fluidpatch still existed and since Demise so far has only one "printing" all of its copies have this fluidpatcher thing...Or so i have heard
