Installing from scratch?

Greetings all...been thinking about reinstalling, and since I don't have any old game files to go back to, I was wondering what steps I should take, and if I need to install every patch, or just the latest one... Yes, I suppose I could have just perused the board a little...but I am feeling lazy 8)

this is the safest overall way and it's general accepted as the right way (at least from what i've seen) hope to see you soon. install Demise, reboot, run demise, create character, enter dungeon, quit, reboot, apply 3.1 patch, reboot, run demise, enter dungeon, quit, reboot, apply 353 patch and *.dll, reboot, run demise, enter dungeon, quit

i would flush the registry clean if you dont mind going in there just to be on the safe side i saw on a post today there is a problem with the newest patch and windows me im on win 98 se and have no problems so far useing the new patch you might want to backup your system thou just in case you have problems everyone should backup once a week anyways well good luck hehe
