Making up for all the unstable code

I truly think they should somehow make up for all this problems we all been having with the game. The code is unstable and i am sure i have not been the only one that had to reinstall windows on several occasions and do registry sweeps. We shouldnt have to do this after paying 50bucks for a product that obviously isnt functional. I think that they should at least put us all in horizons private beta testing as a way to make up for all the headaches and time we dedicated to this unstable game. of course that assuming horizons is gona have a better and stable code.

LOL mabe that's how Dave's gona make Demise live on forever give all us a free copy of Horizons or something. (but you'd still have to pay the monthly fee of course)

Yeah, that'd be nice. Seriously though, I know that Demise has issues but reinstalling windows? Does it really get that extreme? I get occasional crashes (rare, one every two weeks perhaps) but no big problems. If you want a game that's really buggy, gice Crimson Skies a go. Good game in all but th UI is so screwed up that the tech support tells you to have at least 600 megs swapfile. For the UI, not the game engine!!! And it's a Microsoft game. LOL. I think Demise is kinda ok compared to that.

ya i have had to reinstall windows due to demise. among other things.. and i have yet to get it to work. just the amount of hours that i have spent trying to make it work is worth way more than what i spent in the game. very close to just trowing it on a shelve and forgetting about it. I started by playing the demo, it was workign fine i loved it and ordered the game. when i restarted the computer i got an error message when trying to load up the game again. error said "Error 'overflow' occurred in MAINSHD:IWCharGetItemWorth!". Unistall demo, reinstall it make sure all the files were erased before reinstalling seemed to do the trick even if it meant to lose all my characters since if i tried back up from a saved game it would give me the error message.. actually even if i just restarted the computer the error message would be back. so basically i would reinstall game and play once and then if i wanted to play again after restarting computer iw ould have to reinstall the game again. sometimes it would work reinstalling without deleting the system directory that demise leaves behind when you unistall it meaning that sometimes i got to keep my characters. now the full version game arrived and i go all happy to install it thinking that the error was a demo issue only. well.. the error stayed. worse reinstalling doesnt seem to do anything anymore. cleaning the registry doesnt neither. plus i tend to get the ding bug aswell on top of the error. Plus trying to patch the game without being able to run a character and load up dungeon in between patches causes explorer and windows to go berserk and prevents you from loading up windows from then on !! joy oh joy time to reinstall windows. so as you see no i wasnt exagerating.
