I have been trying to find what my video card and its memory is I use a compaq pesario 7594 after all my search this was the only thing I found: Whitney 810 Video Driver and intel 810e chipset graphic driver. I don't want to open my computer yet because I don't know what I will be looking for. But if anyone can give me an idea of what I found and descripe it a little more I will be glad.

I believe that Magix(spelling?) used the intel chipset for many videocards. Not sure of the website but i will post if i can find it. Also you could try the comaq site itself i believe that it is pretty good for detailing system specs.

here is the compaq support page for your system, it has all the latest drivers etc. http://web14.compaq.com/falco/sp_list.asp?action=drivers&model_number=7594&cat=Desktop

Does that mean if I wanted to upgrade the video card I won't be able to? Titanmaster: I tried the compaq web page and that was how I was able to know what I had leasted up there. So what DO I do about upgrade and card memory?

If it is a on board video as I suspect there's a good video accelerator made by voodo that might work with it ya might look into it. And some boards still have a AGP slot and the on board crap can be disabled. PS To tell if it has a AGP slot open the case the top slot nearest the cpu will be a little short brown thing that doesn't look like any of the other slots. Another good indicator with out opening the case is the monitor pluged in up near the ps2 mouse and keyboard sockets or in one of the expansion slots down near the bottom of the case

With on board video you normally just have to set a jumper on your motherboard to turn it off, then you can use whatever card you want.
