Mordor 1 The Depths of Dejenol demo

Notes (1) ... no guarantees here, make a temp folder on your desktop and extract both disk file sets into it ... then run setup.  (2) ... make a different folder for the misc. files and if you have trouble with Mordor starting up, read the text file and the Visual Basic system files that are enclosed in 'misc. files' may be copied into the system and/or system32 folders BUT do NOT overwrite any existing files in your system

Dark Queen of Krynn

For those who own the game but have mislaid the paperwork, the following zip files may be useful:  Make sure you unzip into a temporary directory - look for the text files.  No guarantees about anything ~ use at own risk!!!

Devil Whiskey

Thanks to all who helped with this, particularly Sortiri for the tireless grunge work !!

On June 21st 2001, David Allen, then still at Artifact Entertainment LLC, announced that at some undetermined future date the source code for DEMISE™ would be "made public".  This public archive was set up 'by' and 'for' the community of players 'old' and 'new'  in response to that news.  Further sections will be made available as we move towards the release and the major effort that will be required to "complete" the initial game ~ and then ~  who knows what?  Porting the game to other operating system's , devising deviously twisted expansion scenarios, providing custom dungeon editors ...

Addendum, August 2002

David Allen left Artifact Entertainment shortly after last year's announcement, and formed a new company, Pharaoh Productions Inc.  The
legal problems and other "issues" between Artifact Entertainment, Pharaoh Productions and IPC-Software have left the "Public Release" in limbo for the time being.  This site will remain however, as a central location for storing board records and other material related to one of the most addictive RPG's ever released.

Addendum to Addendum, December 2003

Pharaoh Productions have made available for $20.00 U.S. a key-coded download of the full version game at revision level 1.01 - there is hardly any significant difference from the full version, patched -  and the majority of the minor bugs and other fixes painstakingly listed by hundreds of players have been completely ignored.  It also mandates you download the Microsoft .NET framework, and you can no longer move the game between computers without requiring a new 'key' activations.  There is a promise of 'many more fixes' in a future 1.02 release ~ the history of this great game leads those of us who have followed it for a long time to believe it when we see it.

Addendendum etc etc, January 2004

By special arrangement, those of you who have played the demo 1.00 and who wish to experience the full game without restrictions may purchase the full version on CD complete with manual, together with a CD of patches and some other goodies, directly from Decklin's Domain.  Please email decklin@pacbell.net if you have any questions.
