Would anybody kindly let me play on their server ? I am new to Demise so i might use some help on how to join a server too.

Logging into another server is simple as pie. Under the multiplayer section set up your master server to 24.177.150.77. Query the master server, click on a server and copy to your list... then connect.

Most servers listed are not password protected and you can log on freely .

Are you runningthe full or the demo? If the full what patches do you have installed?

which will help get you started. It did me at any rate, and now I'm hooked!

SEE you... Make sure you have the master server entered properly. Typos can be a pain.

If you have a firewall, you may have to set the fireall to allow passage through port 27000 for MP(if this is what is giving you a problem connecting to the master server). This is what I had to do, for my MP server

If your running the demo you have to include all the address in my sig includeing :25537

Master Server doesn't work on port 27000 it's on port 25537, 27000 is the default port for the game server and must be open for ppl to connect to your server if your running a fire wall. I don't think you have to open the port for the Master Server I have to have it open on the Master Server so YOU can get in

The default port is 26000 .... opening ports all the way through to 27000 is unnecessary

I tried to connect to a server manually (ie not using the 'query' option but instead enter the server ip and port directly in the servers list). A line there looks like
[uknown]111.111.111.111:11111 ~999
Except for the unlucky cases when after I press connect the server returns error 10060 connection timed out or error 10061 connection refused (why?), most of the time I get connection ok (0) and nothing else happens. The cursor turns to sandwatch and I have waited as long as 15 minutes without anything happening. Why is that ?

If the connection is refused, then hit the cancel\ button where the connect button was. My question for you is- Why are you trying to enter one in manually? Just query the master server and copy the server to your preferred list and then connect. Anyway- Good Luck and Have Fun
