Dungeon Pike glitch?

I have a Barbarian whose quest is to kill a dungeon pike but they don't exist. I can search for them and find them (usually around 42,19,5) but they aren't there to attack and kill.

Which patch do you have ? Dungeon Pikes are on level 4 by the beach area.

Thanks for the advice. I recently bought the game and didn't realize it still needed to be patched. Problem solved. Pike dead!
