HELP! Final Patch and Back up Help?

Hey Im running the game as it was loaded off the full version cd ordered from artifact. I was wondering where I can find the final patch. I downloaded the 353 patch but i haven't installed it yet cause I've been scared it would mess up my game. So my questions are is the 353 the final patch and if not where can i get the final one and how can I manually back up my game. Like what files to copy. I know there is an in game back up in "options" or something but I don't really get "what" it backs up. Or if it works. PLus do I have anything to worry about with the patching I mean I dont want to lose my characters. thanks everyone for all the help. GRAND_QUEST_MASTER

Do not install the 353 with installer it has being known to mess up the games. For now the 353 is the last patch till a more recent one comes out. Date unknown. The backup option does work. But for a manuel back up see this. At the most when you patch you might lose the store and maps but you gain a lot more. Try it out. Hope it helps.

Have you already installed the R3.1 patch? It's a must do befor the 353 and .dll patch

well I ran the 3.1 patch with the installer like im not supposed to but it doesnt seem like anything has changed the map is still there and all that but I haven't rebooted my comp yet which is what I am about to do then Ill check to see if anything has changed (i.e. unmapped map) and then I will use the 3.1 with out the installer and then the 353exe then the 353dll.

If you run the game after running the R3.1 patch befor rebooting you will croupt the install and will probbly have to re patch or even reinstall
