For 98 right click My Computer select properties. Go to performance. Virtual Memory. Select Let me specify my own virtual memory. Select the hard drive you want to use and specify the amount of virtual memory that you wish to use. I usually use the amount of ram plus 12 for my virtual memory settings. Currently on my Home system set at 140. 128 megs + 12 megs. My work system is set to 204 megs. BTW to keep swap file fragmentation down, defrag the hard drive before setting the virtual memory and then make the minimum and the maximum the same size.
