Trouble with Logitech webcam

Installed a usb logitech web cam and can't play games now. Demise and Diablo both lock when trying to initialize. Running win98se and the camera works fine. Tried to unistall and remove every entry in the regisrty that dealt with the camera software. Anyone have any success or experience with this? I know the software allows for game interface, and I think this messed the games up. I may just reinstall windows and then reinstall the camera, then reinstall Demise to see if this might help. If not- the games will prevail over the web cam.

I recently bought the logitech 3000 pro webcam or something like that, It gave me some troubles with demise when i installed all the crap that came with it... I couldn't get it working, so I ended up taking back the webcam... it cost me $150 canadian!!! I decided that i wasn't using it enough to make it worth my while to keep it, esp. at that cost. I know this doesn't help much, but it lets you know that someone else had the same problems
