horrible bugs

I have played Demise for about 20 hours the last 2 days on a Celeron 600 w/ 196MB RAM.. never have any problem anywhere in the dungeon so far, no crashes doing anything else. But when I am doing anything in town with the inventory-- everytime I come back to town to unload and ID my stuff, there is a 100% chance it will crash when I go to drag and drop an item at some point in the process.. I have had to resort to backing up my game everytime I come back from the dungeon, or it will hang during this process and kill everything I have mapped in that session. Inventory management code needs an overhaul.

I had that problem until I installed 3.53 (DO NOT USE 3.53 INSTALLER VERSION THOUGH) Maybe you should try it... (if you haven't already)

yep, that is the version I am running. Just seems to be something about the drag and drop item interface.

this is a 'known' problem. my suggestion would be to exit the game after mapping a substantial portion of the dungeon. It seems to help with the 'in town' crashes, but more importantly, when u exit it saves everything that you have mapped. You can exit before entering town, or imediately upon entering. I've had crashes pretty much everywhere in town, except when talking to Gherrick. the crashes in town seem to diminish when you've been killing stuff in previously mapped areas.
